Today , i have made a big mistake which have caused the company to go on shrinkage . Partly is due to my fault and partly due to the customer. The customer demands service , firstly she demanded to get a discount for her purchase, so i brought her to the customer service counter to get her privilege card, before that , she was telling me she is rushing and have no time , but after she got the card and knowing that there's a 10% discount given for her purchases, she went to choose other shoes even though she has not much time left , and i was the one serving her all along, and she kept rushing me to faster pack her shoes as she wants to make payment, so i was also in a hurry and did something wrong which made the company go on shrinkage which i won't want to elaborate further. After her purchase, she still want the staff to make the delivery to her hotel room by night. So my collegue was the one who did the delivery. Thanks a lot , Sharin. But luckily , i do not have to pay for the losses (THANK GOD) , all thanks to my supervisor , who helped to put in good words to the manager, and too the manager was very kind enough to settle the matter for me, and told me not to worry , just don't make the same mistake again . At that moment , i just felt relieved . And do not need to worry about it anymore. Thanks Everyone. I know my mistake and would not be repeating it again . Actually i don't know why i can make this careless mistake which i should not be makking it and i was quite sure i was doing it right at that moment, maybe i am just too blur at that moment and was a bit panic to pack the shoes. And if i am at the cashier counter at that moment when she made payment, i would be able to realise this mistake and make changes immediately, but too bad that i need to serve another customer, so i left it to the cashier to helped me settle payment, so i did not manage to realise the mistake. And if the supervisior did not help to pack the shoes , i would not have known i would made such a big mistake. Hmmm... i think its fated to let someone know my mistake and inform me , so that i would not repeat the same thing. The last time i made a mistake by not checking the size properly before putting the shoes into the shoe box , in the end , the customer got the different size for each side and had her to come back to the store to exchange , SO PAISEH . But luckily the customer is very pleasant and did not mind about it . I think the god is challenging me by giving me to experience all the different mistakes that will be made in sales so that i know it and won't do it. I also think i am quite lucky that i get the problem solved peacefully for everytime a mistake is made by me . The customers i met are not demanding to ask for a refund in transportation and time loss as this was experienced by other staff who did made mistakes too . If the customer did not rush me from the start , i would not be making this silly mistake. The most funny part is that the customer keep taking out her passport to show me where she's from etc. and asked me to help her fill up the particulars to apply for some member's card thingy . Ok . What i am looking forward to is my confirmation letter from the company which i will be getting TOMORROW . I finally passed my 3 months probation period and it was quite difficult to get through as i got bullied by staffs and customers just because i am a trainee but i managed to overcome them and finally become a COMFIRMED STAFF
