It was since a month since the error has been made. And now the customer has finally called back to resolve it .
The problem is that someone who served that customer gave 2 left sides and each a different size to the customer and its a DOUBLE MISTAKE .
How can a customer wear shoes of the same sides . Hahaha ! And that customer called back from INDIA . The customer was well mannered. She was not at all angry and request us to exchange a brand new pair for her. So i went to check whether the wrong pair of shoes is still in our store, in the end managed to find it . There were so many models but luckily enough , we manage to dig out the correct pair.
But sometimes , i received calls from very demanding customers when we made mistakes on the sizes of the shoes. But i think its not totally our fault . Sometimes we really forget to check again when packing or just accidentally packed the wrong pair. Sometimes , customers try 3 pairs of shoes of the same design but different sides and we tend to make mistakes by packing the worng pair. Sometimes i tend to check before packing but so unlucky that i took up the wrong sides.
But i think customers also need to have the responsibility to check the sizes of the shoes before bringing it for payment and not totally put the blame on us.
Some of the customers were so thick -skinned that they threaten to complain our company if we would not do the delivery for the wrong shoes we sold .
I hate these. Although customers is always right. But i think customers also have the responsibility to check goods before leaving the store and not assume that its no problem and when they found errors , they call up and complain and insist that we do a delivery to rectify the errors , and that they will not come down to do the change.
I see that a number of my collegues are quitting the company soon and some has already left the company for good. Its because they feel the unfair treatment that made them quit. I am also quitting soon .
The rest were just waiting for the year end bonus before they send in their resignation letter which is what i wanted too. Why do we want to help the company save money ? Let the company benefit too.
